What you need to know
You may be eligible for other types of leave, such as Federal Paid Sick Leave or State leaves, depending on your employment status and where you live.
Federal Paid Sick Leave
Federal contractors are required to provide paid sick leave to certain employees when they support contracts that are subject to the Service Contract Act or the Davis-Bacon Act and that contain certain other provisions.
Federal Paid Sick Leave allows eligible employees to take paid time off to address your or a covered relative’s existing health condition or preventive health care, or if you or a covered relative are a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking.

Mandated state leaves
Certain state laws require BAE Systems to provide Paid Sick Leave (PSL) or Paid Family Leave (PFL) to eligible employees for various purposes. PSL and PFL generally allow you to take paid time off to care for your own health needs or to care for a qualified family member with health issues. Most commonly, you can take PSL or PFL to care for a parent, child, spouse, domestic partner, and sometimes a grandparent, grandchild, sibling, or other individual.
