What you need to know
Save pretax dollars on your monthly commuting expenses through our commuter benefits program. Eligible expenses include those for public transportation, participating in a vanpool, or sharing an UberPool or Lyft Line.
Monthly subsidy for eligible commuting expenses
The BAE Systems commuter benefits program grants eligible employees monthly funds for approved commuting expenses. If you commute to 2941 Fairview Park via the Metro or park at a Metro station, join a vanpool, or share an UberPool or Lyft Line, you can participate in the program and receive a company subsidy.
In addition to covering mass transit fees and vanpools, our commuter benefits program now includes:
- Onsite parking for all employees
- UberPool and Lyft Line
You can only select one option for your commute to work, so you cannot participate in both onsite parking and mass transit concurrently. You can start, stop, or change your commuter benefits at any time through BenefitsNavigator. Select the Your Spending Account tile on the home page, and then click on the commuter benefits program under the Accounts section. Changes made by the tenth of every month will apply to the upcoming month.
To use this program, you must be a benefits-eligible employee who works at Inc. Headquarters in Falls Church, Va. We realize that not everyone will be returning to the office at the same time. Have a conversation with your manager to determine your return-to-work timeline. Once you know how many days per week you’ll be going into the office and your estimated monthly transit cost, you can sign up for the program.
Enrolling in commuter benefits
You can enroll in or make changes to your commuter benefits on BenefitsNavigator by the tenth of the month to be applied to the following month. Set your order to recur monthly, and it will repeat automatically each month, or you can designate in advance which months you wish to receive your commuter benefits. Once you enroll in the program, depending on your election, you may receive documentation to pay for certain commuting costs.
