After your initial enrollment as a new hire, you’ll have the opportunity to make changes during the Annual Enrollment period, held each fall. Outside of Annual Enrollment, you can make changes only if you have what’s known as a qualified life event, such as getting married, divorced, having or adopting a child, or your spouse gaining or losing health care coverage.
The change you make must be consistent with the change in your life. For example, if you have or adopt a child, you can enroll your new child in your BAE Systems medical plan or enroll in or change your Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) contribution.
