BAE Systems continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation. We recognize this is a stressful time for many of our employees. Know that you have several resources available to you to help you navigate COVID-19 and help you maintain your health and wellness.
Accessing testing and care
Cigna covers FDA-approved serology tests only for those who have tested positive for COVID-19. At this time, Cigna does not cover tests to see if you have immunity to the disease—known as antibody tests—for nondiagnostic purposes.
Cigna covers medical care for COVID-19 and will waive cost-sharing and copays for office visits (including urgent care, emergency room, or telehealth), testing, and treatment.
If you’re concerned that you might have COVID-19 and would like to get tested, scheduling a virtual care visit with your primary care provider may be a good place to start. They can help you understand whether you need testing or not. If testing is recommended, use Cigna’s search tool to find a testing center near you.

For resources on coping with the stress of coronavirus or anything else, contact Cigna’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Your Cigna EAP offers you and your family free and confidential support to manage personal issues, such as stress, family issues, and substance abuse. You do not have to be enrolled in a BAE Systems medical plan to use the EAP’s tools and services.
