What you need to know
You and your eligible dependents can choose between two different dental plans. Both plans cover diagnostic and preventive care (e.g., cleanings and X-rays) and provide coverage for basic care, like fillings and gum treatment, and major and restorative care, like crowns and dentures.
You can choose between two different dental plans: Delta Dental PPO High and Delta Dental PPO Low. Both plans:
- Offer a large, nationwide network of providers that offer discounts for services.
- Cover diagnostic and preventive care (e.g., cleanings and X-rays) at 100% with no deductible or out-of-pocket cost to you. Plus, preventive cleanings don't count toward the annual maximum benefit. So, if you have extensive dental work and reach your annual maximum, you can still have your cleanings covered by insurance.
- Provide coverage for basic care, like fillings and gum treatment, and major and restorative care, like crowns and dentures.

Delta Dental has two networks—PPO and Premier. PPO network dentists typically provide greater discounts than those who participate only in the Premier network.
You can choose to use an out-of-network dentist, but you’ll typically pay more. Benefits for out-of-network care are based on usual, reasonable, and customary charges.
Go to Delta Dental to search for dentists that participate in the plans.
