What you need to know
Paid Time Off (PTO) provides you with paid time away from work that you can use for vacation, personal time, personal illness, or time off to care for dependents. You can accumulate up to a maximum of 400 PTO hours.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
How much PTO you accrue depends upon how long you’ve worked for BAE Systems. Eligible part-time employees earn prorated PTO based on scheduled work hours. For more information, visit the Time Away from Work page on the BAE Systems Resource Center portal. You must be on the BAE Systems network to access the Resource Center portal.
New hires and rehires
New hires and rehires
Most new hires and rehires are granted a lump sum of PTO hours equal to half of their annual accrual based on their business’s accrual schedule at the time of hire or rehire. Then, after completing six months (26 weeks) of employment service, you will begin accruing PTO weekly. Rehires receive credit for prior BAE Systems service when calculating their accrual tier.
Other time off
Your business may provide additional paid and unpaid time off, such as jury duty, education, and voting time off. For more information, visit the Time Away from Work page on the BAE Systems Resource Center portal. You must be on the BAE Systems network to access the Resource Center portal.
